Welcome to Tyrrell Katz, the family-run UK design studio weaving over 20 years of creativity into charming, hand‑illustrated kids' essentials. From school‑ready backpacks to mealtime-friendly melamine tableware — and everything in between — our range brings big smiles and practicality to daily routines. Each product begins with a story: whimsical characters, space adventures, roaring dinosaurs, magical unicorns, farmyard fun, and secret gardens — all hand-drawn by founder and illustrator James Tyrrell. We combine spirited design with thoughtful function. Our children’s backpacks and bags are hard‑wearing and comfortable, ready for school, sleepovers, or family days out. An ideal bottle pocket and easy‑access front zip make them as practical as they are delightful. Our melamine tableware — including plates, bowls, beakers, divider trays, cutlery, and coverall bibs — is BPA‑free, durable, and easy to clean, designed for everyday meals or picnics. Would Definitely Buy Again

The print is flawless!
So pleased with the crockery and cutlery I bought for my little girl, who is 2. The quality is excellent, and the print on it is completely flawless! My daughter has loved using it. As soon as I saw farm and vehicle themed cups and plates and other items I had to get it. And they did not disappoint, the items seem to be of a high quality and I have washed them several times already and they are looking like new. I will be purchasing again from them.

The most durable kids stuff

Really impressed
Really impressed with the products I’ve recently purchased (trucks themed blanket and toddler drinks bottle). My little one will love them! Perhaps a little more than I’d usually spend, but great quality so I’m really pleased. I will probably end up wanting to buy the whole range... but one piece at a time for now! Delivery was also really quick. No complaints here.
